Joseph G. Dela Cruz

Joseph has been a teacher and developer of young minds for more than 15 years. He is currently the Subject Area Coordinator for Filipino at the Ateneo de Manila Junior High School.

Joseph also specializes and conducts workshops/trainings on presentation, storytelling, personality enhancement, creativity, service quality, and teambuilding. He is also presently the Managing Director of Rolyeplayers, Inc., where he provides highly-customized developmental programs using the fundamentals of theater to educate and empower individuals.

He is deeply passionate about theatre and is active as an actor, performing in plays such as Shakespeare's King Lear (Haring Lear) and Aeschylus’ trilogy, Oresteia (Ang Oresteyas). He enjoys translating plays in English to Filipino such as Dario Fo’s Accidental Death of an Anarchist, Jean Giraudoux’s Ondine, and Andrew Bovell’s Speaking in Tongues.

He has conducted acting workshops and advanced acting workshops for Tanghalang Ateneo, Ateneo de Manila University.

Joseph is married to Eliza and has two children: Patricia Mae and Erica Bianca.
